Every day, Orthodox clergy, missionaries, seminarians, widows, and struggling parishes around the world depend on the kindness of people they've never met.

Many of those acts of kindness begin with one person in one parish who simply says:

"I'd like to help."

As a Fund for Assistance Parish Representative, you become that connection.

You help fellow parishioners discover extraordinary stories of faith, sacrifice, and hope—and invite them to become part of those stories.

You won't be asking people for yourself.

You'll be giving them an opportunity to strengthen the Church.

What does a Parish Representative do?

There's no required schedule and no fundraising quota. Give as much or as little time as you're able.

You might:

• Share Fund for Assistance stories with fellow parishioners.
• Tell your parish about current projects helping Orthodox Christians around the world.
• Invite your priest to include Fund for Assistance news in the parish bulletin or newsletter.
• Organize an annual collection or awareness event with your parish's blessing.
• Encourage friends and family to subscribe to Fund for Assistance updates.
• Share inspiring stories on social media.
• Help introduce new supporters to the mission of the Fund for Assistance.

Even a few minutes each month can help more people discover the work God is doing through His Church.

Why volunteer?

Because people don't give to organizations.

They give to people.

When someone in your own parish tells a story about a priest serving in Pakistan... a clergy widow rebuilding her life... or a mission planting the Holy Orthodox Faith where almost no Orthodox Christians live... people listen.

Your voice can inspire generosity that reaches across oceans.

And every new supporter means another priest encouraged, another family helped, another mission strengthened.

Who makes a good Parish Representative?

You don't need fundraising experience.

You don't need to be a public speaker.

You simply need:

• A love for the Orthodox Church.
• A desire to help others.
• A willingness to share stories that inspire hope.
