My name is Joel Derolus, I am a parishioner of the parish of St Augustine in Jacmel.
Hurricane Matthew took everything we owned. The house where I lived with my family (my two sisters and my widow mother) is seriously damaged. The roof and one of the walls are gone.
We had to move into my older sister’s house.
"Worst of all, the hurricane destroyed our hope…"
Nearly half of all members of the Orthodox mission in Haiti are in the same situation.
