Subdeacon Daniel was not raised Orthodox. He converted as an adult and brought his whole family to the Holy Orthodox Church. Thanks to donors like you, he was able to start taking classes at the Pastoral School of Chicago.
He is dedicated to his parish, tithes, and has taught catechism classes. After he served several years at the St Nicholas Church in Fletcher, NC, his priest, Fr Stephen Webb, asked him to serve as a deacon.
Daniel took it to heart. But he knew he needed more study. So he applied to the Pastoral School of Chicago - the only school in the United States that provides a "near seminary" experience for full-time employed students.
Although tuition is low, Subdeacon Daniel still couldn't afford it on his present salary as an electrician's apprentice.
But thanks to donors like you, he was able to start taking classes at the Pastoral School of Chicago.
We're asking you to, please, support the Pastoral School of Chicago that helps clergy like Subdeacon Daniel to get the education they need to serve our Church.
