Seminar for family camp organizers in Stutgart
Family camps in Germany under the spiritual guidance of priest Sergey Popov from Volgograd have been in operation since 2005, but only in one location – not far from Dortmund.
The goal of this seminar is to expand their activities in the hopes of organizing another family camp geared towards multilingual and multi-faith families.
Fourteen people from Stuttgart, Frankfurt and Wuppertal took part in the seminar. The first family camp of this kind is scheduled for 2010. Led by archpriest Anatoly Gamayev (Volgograd, Russia), the attendees became familiar with the organizational principles of family camps through theoretical and practical training.
